AUSTIN, Texas — Carziqo is introducing its ER-SX autonomous ride-hailing series in Austin as the company begins a broader transition toward 24/7 vehicle operations, Monday through Sunday, supported by a more flexible, vehicle-specific maintenance system.
The launch of the ER-SX marks another step in Carziqo’s continued development of its autonomous mobility network in the United States. Designed for urban ride-hailing operations, the ER-SX will be integrated into Carziqo’s centralized fleet management platform, which coordinates vehicle deployment, operational status, diagnostics, maintenance scheduling and service availability.
At the same time, Carziqo is changing an important part of its fleet operating model.
Previously, Sunday was generally reserved as a centralized fleet maintenance period, during which normal vehicle operations could be temporarily reduced or suspended so that technical teams could conduct inspections, cleaning, preventive maintenance, software diagnostics and other scheduled servicing.
Under the new operating framework, Carziqo plans to move away from a fixed, fleet-wide Sunday maintenance shutdown.
Instead, autonomous ride-hailing and delivery vehicles will be assigned individual service windows according to their operating schedules, accumulated mileage, technical condition, diagnostic information and actual maintenance requirements.
This transition is intended to allow eligible vehicles to remain available for service throughout the week while ensuring that maintenance continues to be carried out according to operational and technical standards.
From Fixed Maintenance Days to Intelligent Fleet Scheduling
As autonomous vehicle fleets become larger and more connected, Carziqo believes maintenance scheduling must become increasingly dynamic.
Different vehicles may accumulate different mileage, operate on different routes and experience different service conditions. A single weekly maintenance schedule therefore may not reflect the actual condition or service requirements of every vehicle.
Under the new system, Carziqo’s fleet management platform will coordinate when individual vehicles should enter designated service locations for routine inspection, cleaning, preventive maintenance, software diagnostics, sensor checks and other operational services.
Vehicles requiring attention can be temporarily removed from service, while other eligible vehicles may continue operating.
This creates a rotating maintenance model designed to balance two priorities: vehicle availability and operational reliability.
For Carziqo, the objective is not simply to extend operating hours, but to build a fleet management structure capable of supporting continuous autonomous mobility operations at greater scale.
